The chemical industry in the Kotka-Hamina region is focused in the Mussalo and Hamina ports of the Port of HaminaKotka.

Hamina’s liquid and gas terminal is Finland’s largest concentration of chemical and further processing. A 500-hectare land area, an industrial area of 150 hectares, 40 kilometres of rail network and excellent connections by land, sea and rail make the Hamina port an excellent location for the developing chemical industry.
