Keltakallio Industrial Area

Keltakallio industrial area is suitable for large industrial entities and meets the needs of the manufacturing industry or a data centre, for example.  There are opportunities for future expansion in the area as well. The area is in the immediate vicinity of the Helsinki–Vaalimaa section of the E18 motorway and it has good connections to the Port of HaminaKotka.

Efficient infrastructure connections can be built in the area. A railway line runs close to the area and it is possible to link the line to the area. A main water line coming from the direction of Kouvola and a gas network run through the area. The area has a 110 kV power line and a substation.

Small industrial companies operate in the southern part of the area. An expansion of the industrial area is included in the strategic master plan.

The area is located on the edge of an existing community structure. The approximate distances are 14 km to the centre of Kotka and 5 km to the centre of Karhula. The distance to the E18 motorway is less than 1 km, while the distance to the ports in Kotka and Hamina is approximately 15 km.
